In a crowded area, Uber Beacon allows a rider to locate his driver. Here's how to do it: Riders can choose any colour from the available 24-bit RGB colours from inside the Uber Clone app when booking the ride. This chosen colour is now sent to his matched driver's app, and the command is sent to an Uber Beacon' unit, which glows in the colour chosen by the rider, through Bluetooth on the driver's phone. Since the beacon system is mounted on the car's windscreen, a rider can clearly see it and recognise his driver.
